SMART Repair Technician

 

Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking a SMART repair technician on behalf of their client, a well renowned dealership in the area.

 

The role –

 

·         To work under the SMART Repair mentor and learn the following.

 

·         To undertake smart repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times.

 

·         To care for customers’ vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.

 

·         To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly and economical way.

 

·         To build a bank of knowledge and skills to effect permanent and complete repairs.

 

·         To share skills and knowledge to develop others within the dealership.

 

·         To enhance the reputation of the Group at every opportunity when interacting with others.

 

 

Skills -

 

·         To undertake training under the SMART Repair Technician and gradually become proficient in the following.

 

·         To carry out work competently and within the time limits laid down and acceptable to the Aftersales Manager.

 

·         To ensure that times are recorded as required by management.

 

·         To attend internal and external training courses as required by management.

 

·         To keep place of work clean and tidy.

 

·         To advise Bodyshop Controller of any additional work found.

 

 

 

 Qualifications/Training -

 

·         Receive training and maintain best practice in manual handling methods.

·         Organised and methodical approach to problem solving.

 

·         A care for and attention to, detail.

 

·         Undertaken manufacturers’ training courses and maintained knowledge of work methods and technical data.
