Group Aftersales Manager

 

Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking an aftersales manager on behalf of our client, A well renowned dealership group in the area.



Job Description

Develop service department budgets to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial targets.
Maintain financial and operational controls within the Group.
Understand and report on key KPIs in a timely and accurate manner, to act on these to ensure best practice and achieve maximum profit opportunity.
Ensure group warranty procedures are followed.
Respond swiftly to any customer complaints and ensure timely resolutions with Managers.
Establish and monitor the team’s training requirements to ensure the required level of expertise is always achieved.
Work alongside the Senior Management Team to develop a strategy to maintain the long-term profitability of the departments.
To organise, direct and control the activities of all line managers and their teams to achieve set plans and budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial policies and procedures to ensure achievement of all tasks smoothly and in a timely manner.
To ensure good customer relations are maintained at all times to achieve upper quartile or a minimum of above national average CSI score.
To ensure that group parts stock checks are performed and followed up if below the expected score.
To ensure that the managers have effective control of the stock to reduce parts obsolesces costs.
Responsibilities & Other Personal Activities:

Create and agree motivational plans for After Sales Team to ensure achievement of targets
Provide guidance and training to the team to improve their job performance, with particular emphasis on: customer follow up, upselling and product knowledge and all related items.
Carry out timely monthly performance reviews with all team members.
Recommend and initiate personnel actions for subordinate Team members including promotion, transfers, discharges, discipline, recruitment, and selection.
Develop profit opportunities in Service & Parts Dept. in conjunction with dept managers and budget
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the After Sales Team to ensure maximum direct selling time and effective handling of all after sales activities.
Develop and interpret company policies to sub-ordinates; analyse and resolve all related problems smoothly and in a timely manner.
