We're recruiting for an experienced Used Car Preparation Technician to join an exciting new automotive operation in Stirling.

The Role

You'll be responsible for preparing vehicles to a high mechanical, safety and quality standard, ensuring they're ready for their next customer.

Your day-to-day work will include:

Used vehicle inspections and preparation
Servicing and routine maintenance
Mechanical repairs and rectification work
Fault finding and diagnostics
Identifying and resolving mechanical issues
Safety and quality checks
Working to manufacturer and company standards
You'll be part of a professional technical team, with training provided to help you get up to speed with the vehicles, systems and technology.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a Technician or Mechanic with solid automotive experience and a good eye for detail.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience working in an automotive workshop
Strong mechanical knowledge
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience carrying out servicing and repairs
High standards of workmanship
A reliable and professional approach
A willingness to learn new technology and systems
Previous experience with the vehicles involved isn't essential.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for an experienced Technician who is keen to broaden their knowledge.

The Package

£38,610 basic salary
Overtime paid at time and a half
£2,000 welcome bonus following successful completion of the 3-month probation period
45 hours per week
Monday to Friday
No Saturdays
