If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who takes pride in getting the job right first time, this could be a strong opportunity to take your skills and earnings further.

You'll join an established dual-franchised automotive retailer in Exeter, offering a competitive basic salary alongside high earning potential of £50,000-£60,000 OTE for top performers.

And importantly — Monday to Friday, with NO WEEKEND WORK.

£30,000-£40,000 basic salary, depending on experience and qualifications
High OTE of £50,000-£60,000 for top performers

The role is predominantly focused on servicing, maintenance and repair, rather than heavy diagnostic work, although you'll need to be comfortable using modern diagnostic equipment when required.

Main dealership experience would be useful, but the business is prepared to provide training and development to the right person.

THE ROLE
Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to a high standard
Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
Use current diagnostic equipment when required
Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
Work towards agreed productivity and efficiency targets
Deliver right-first-time workmanship across every job
Complete accurate records and documentation for work carried out
Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team
Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism across every vehicle
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
Time-served Technician status
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
The technical ability to service, repair and maintain modern vehicles
Confidence using current diagnostic equipment
A proven track record of delivering right-first-time work
Good communication skills
A full UK driving licence
It would be great if you also have:
Main dealership experience
Manufacturer training or accreditation
Experience working to workshop productivity and efficiency targets
Additional diagnostic experience
Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles
MOT Tester qualification
