A strong opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a busy franchised workshop, with genuine earning upside through bonus, overtime and time-saved payments.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Pembrook Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join an established franchised dealership in Haywards Heath.

The workshop has a team of six Technicians supported by three Service Advisors, offering a busy but well-supported environment where an efficient Technician can maximise their earnings.

£30,000–£35,000 basic salary
Bonus and overtime available
Top Technician earnings around £45,000–£50,000 depending on efficiency, overtime and time-saved bonus
Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am–12:30pm
Saturday mornings paid as overtime
Manufacturer training available
Established franchised workshop
Six-Technician workshop team
THE ROLE

Carry out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
Complete mechanical repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards
Diagnose faults and carry out effective diagnostic work
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality
Work to time and productivity targets
Maximise time-saved bonus opportunities through efficient working
Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
Maintain accurate job cards and repair documentation
Work positively with the wider workshop and Service team
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need:

Previous Vehicle Technician experience
Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Efficient and quality-focused approach to workshop work
Ability to work productively in a busy franchised environment
Professional and reliable attitude
Full UK driving licence
It would be particularly useful if you also have:

Previous main dealer or manufacturer-franchise experience
MOT Testing Licence
Experience working to time-saved or productivity-based bonus schemes
Relevant automotive technical qualifications
