You'll join an established automotive retailer in Salisbury, offering a basic salary ranging from £30,000–£44,000, depending on experience and qualifications, alongside a capped technician productivity banding of up to £2,400.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The workshop is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Technician who can work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

THE ROLE

• Service, maintain and repair customer vehicles.
• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information.
• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work towards agreed productivity and efficiency targets.
• Complete accurate job records and documentation.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team.
• Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician with the relevant technical knowledge, qualifications and practical experience to work confidently within an established dealership workshop.

Essential requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Competent in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Good understanding of manufacturer repair procedures and technical information.
• Full UK driving licence.

It would be advantageous to have:

• Main dealership experience.
• Manufacturer-specific training or accreditation.
• MOT Tester qualification.
• Hybrid or electric vehicle qualifications or experience.
• Experience working towards workshop productivity targets.
